Michael ought to get an award of some kind for the quality of his content. I don't mean a generic 10 million subscriber award. I've personally felt the sonder feeling before. It happened a lot when I walked my dog. There were many times when I was a teenager standing on a tall, dark hill in San Rafael, CA. Looking south, I viewed all the lights and movement of the North Bay Area, the 101 in particular, and the airplanes flying to or from San Francisco. Almost all of these people don't realize that I'm watching them from my dark hill. I know each is a main protagonist of their life. Each of them with their own dramatic lives. Maybe someone out there is looking back at me from my lonely, dark hill and we say hello and goodbye to each other without ever meeting. Then I walk home. It was on these late night dog walks I also imagined my future wife and kids I don't have yet. I say hello to them and tell them that I love them. I don't know them yet but I have already imagined living my life to the end with them. I've met the woman I believe will be my wife, but I haven't produced the kids yet. Someday I will, and maybe I'll explain to them how I always wanted them.
