Jeopardy has been a part of my life for 38 years. My grandma introduced me to jeopardy back in 1983. Ive always loved that show and Alex. 👨🏼‍🦳📺 He will always be a legend.🖤 Rest in peace, Alex. Alex Trebek inspired me to seek knowledge and learn which was I remember the most as an 80's kid. Losing him hurts but knowing what he passed on to others is something we can all learn from.

Rest in Peace Alex Trebek. I watched Jeopardy since I was 3 years old in 1986-87. Alex Trebek will definitely be missed! I cry when I watch the end of Jeopardy where the show host thanks Alex. I cry every single time.

The show should’ve ended when he passed. Yes, it’s very educational but I just can’t watch it with someone else hosting. It just isn’t right with someone else taking HIS place.

I have so much respect for this man. My family and I loved watching Jeopardy every night since I was little. I always thought he was the smartest man in the world because he knew everything! Eventually I realized he had the answers, but that never changed my respect for him. He made the contestants feel welcome with a witty sense of humor and encouraged us to be curious about everything under the sun. I will miss seeing him on the show!

He did it. He achieved the Final Jeopardy. I didn’t know him personally. But considering that I also didn’t know a time in my life without him on the screen, I feel comfortable saying I loved him like he was family. I wonder what my grandmother would say if she was still here. Actually, that’s the thing that gets me. He was part of my last GOOD memories with my grandmother. I saw he lost his battle, and I just cried and cried without being able to stop. He’s so tired in his final speech, and he knows he is... and yet he still stood up there and gave us his last message. I will never complain about another ache or pain ever again. WE LOVE YOU, ALEX.

I watched him for so long, I still look for him!! I still watch the show, but it’s not the same!!! He was a man to be proud of ! And good looking!! He was an honest, God loving man with a big heart. I send his wife and kids my prayers 🙏🙏❤️

i used to want to be on jeopardy. now that alex isn't there, not nearly as much. i'm more cynical than most, but he always seemed like the one tv person who didn't forget where he came from. i'll never be sadder about the death of a man i never met.

What an absolute special man! I hear stories of him taping five episodes a day and in between the episodes was answering questions from the audience. He was feeling sick most of the time but never complained about it. A wonderful Canadian. 🇨🇦

I would watch Alex with my grandmother (who raised me) on her bedroom TV in the early 80's and I have him as part of fond memories. He was a beautiful and humble human being. Many could learn from him.
